Avanzar Consulting is a Christchurch, Timaru and Oamaru based consultancy firm specialising in resource management planning and traffic engineering, helping our clients and communities deliver pragmatic, innovative outcomes. We work in both the public and private sectors for large and small clients and enjoy a wide variety of work.

We offer the opportunity to work partially from home for all our staff, but have a lovely warm and inviting office in Sir William Pickering Drive in Burnside, Christchurch as well. We are always interested in hearing from planners or traffic engineers that may wish to work with us, either in one of our offices or on a remote basis.
We are interested in staff with the following attributes:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and experience if possible (We understand that graduates have to start somewhere, and have had great success employing graduates in the past!)
- A strong scientific background would assist for some roles
